The purpose of the Telehealth Network Grant Program is to demonstrate how telehealth networks are used to: (a) expand access to quality health care services; (b) expand the training of health care providers; and (c) improve the quality of health information available for decision-making. In particular, this program seeks to promote rural Tele-emergency services by enhancing telehealth networks to deliver 24-hour Emergency Department (ED) consultation services via telehealth to rural providers.
