Coleman Tanner is a Research Associate with Georgia Health Policy Center and a member of the Community Health Systems Development Team. She brings experience in upstream approaches to create policy, system, and environmental solutions to public health problems utilizing skills of building partnerships and coalitions and community organizing. She provides technical assistance to a variety of health initiatives; including rural, schools, and local communities. In addition, she provides technical assistance to Georgia’s Student Health and Physical Education (SHAPE) grantees to help create healthy school environments. She brings experience in community engagement with diverse coalitions on promoting evidence-based strategies for community health improvement.
