Community Health Systems Development Team

Since its founding in 1995, the Georgia Health Policy Center has provided technical assistance to more than 1,000 rural and urban community health systems striving to improve health and health care access.

Technical assistance is designed to enhance programmatic and organizational development, with support tailored to the unique needs of each community. Our approach helps communities cultivate a strategic mindset, build capacity for action, and position for long-term sustainability.

We have worked with communities large and small, urban and rural, in every state in the nation.

Our technical assistance approach supports system change and strives to improve the health status of local communities.

Despite this time of great uncertainty, we realize that many HRSA-funded grantees are doing amazing work within their communities and have noteworthy stories to share. We invite you to review our new COVID-19 Grantee Spotlight video series featuring three grantees sharing their stories on how they’ve adapted their practice as a result of the pandemic.
